Our commitment

Mäké designs this site to be usable by everyone, in any condition. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures in place

Semantic HTML, logical heading order, text contrast of at least 4.5:1, visible focus indicators on every interactive element, full keyboard navigation, appropriate ARIA on custom components, full prefers-reduced-motion support, a skip-to-content link, and an accessible, persistent language toggle.

Known limitations

No known limitations in Phase 1. Product pages, cart, and checkout will be assessed separately when Phase 2 ships.

Testing

We assess accessibility with axe DevTools, Lighthouse, and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks (VoiceOver, NVDA) on every deploy.
